Online registration -
Only patients 18 or over will now have access to use online services due to the change in policy which allows access to see your own medical records. Proxy access will no longer be available at this practice from 9th March 2016.
New patients wishing to register for this service must come into the practice with a form of photographic ID so the Receptionists can process your request. Your application is then sent to a GP to consider and may take a few weeks to be agreed.
Please note that we now able to offer you the electronic prescription service (EPS). If you would like to nominate a chemist of your choice to order and collect your requested medications, Please ask at Reception for details.

Named GP for patients aged 75 and over
From April 2014, all patients aged 75 and over will have a named GP who will have overall responsibility for the care and support that our surgery provides to them.
What does this mean for our patients aged 75 and over?
As one of our patients in this age group, you will be given a named GP.
Your named GP will have overall responsibility for the care and support that our surgery provides to you. They will also work with other relevant health and care professionals, who are involved in your care, to ensure that your care package meets your individual needs.

Please note that you are entitled to a Senior Health Check if you are 75+ Please speak to our Reception Team to book your appointment.
SMS Text Messaging
We are sending text messages to all patients who have provided us with a mobile phone number to remind them of their forthcoming appointment. The messages will be received at 6pm on the day before the appointment is to take place. We also send text messages to those who have missed their appointment. If you would rather not have text messages sent to you, please let the surgery know where we can amend your contact preferences on our computer system. We are hoping that this will decrease the number of patients who do not arrive and allow us to offer appointments to others who need them. Please advise the surgery if you change your mobile phone number so we can contact you. We are also contacting patients for flu and shingles vaccines, and other appointment offers as appropiate if you have certain medical conditions.
Please cancel your appointment if you do not need it any longer as it can then be used for someone else. Due to the surgeries being full if you turn up late for your appointment please do not expect to be "fitted in" as this is unfair on other patients that have turned up on time for their appointments. Please appreciate if the Dr or Nurse is running late themselves then this is because they have had to deal with an emergency or someone who is acutely ill.
